Our Story: A Foundation of Trust and Experience
EarlyBird Electric was founded by Mark Cemensky, a seasoned Master Electrician, and has been a trusted name since 1990 — serving over 10,000 households with expert electrical solutions across the Twin Cities.
Mark’s story begins on a dairy farm in New Prague, where he and his brothers were raised with the values of hard work, diligence, and self-reliance. Rising with the dawn each day, they learned to fix and maintain things with their own hands. Mark’s first electrifying encounter came through an unexpected jolt from an electric fence — an incident that ignited his curiosity and set him on a lifelong path of electrical mastery.
After high school, Mark pursued formal training at Dunwoody Electrical Trade School, then went on to build his career at the St. Paul Ford Plant before transitioning into residential electrical contracting. His passion for problem-solving and his genuine desire to help homeowners led him to establish EarlyBird Electric — a company built on his unwavering commitment to honest service, electrical expertise, and home safety.
